We partnered with Fleasolve to turn an underperforming account into a category leader.

After giving the campaign structure a complete overhaul, focusing on SEO improvements in the title, bullets and A+ content, and implementing a smart Subscribe & Save strategy, Fleasolve’s total sales grew from £124K to £434K per Month: a 250% increase.

ACoS Spiked, Sales Stalled, No Strategy

Fleasolve is a UK-based pet health brand that offers vet-strength, spot-on flea & tick treatments for both cats and dogs, with formulations tailored by weight class. Their products are manufactured in Britain and use fipronil, a trusted and widely used active ingredient in parasitic control. What makes Fleasolve unique is their direct-to-consumer model and transparency about lab strength formulas.

A Strong Product-Market Fit, But A Chaotic Setup

When we started working with FleaSolve, the brand was struggling to scale efficiently in a hyper-competitive market dominated by large players like ITCH and Frontline. The brand was losing ground in the market not because of its strong product line, but because its marketing foundation was flawed. We identified five core issues that were holding back growth.

Weak SEO & Poor Indexing

Titles were missing high-volume keywords and backend search terms were incomplete, which meant the products weren’t being indexed for countless important search terms. This left a massive amount of both organic and paid traffic on the table.

Underutilized Branding & Creatives

Fleasolve was failing to build a strong brand presence. They had no Brand Store to showcase their full product catalog and only used standard A+ content, which led to missing out on the opportunity to increase AOV and cross-sell. Also, without creative ad types like video and headline search ads, their listings weren’t able to stand out in the sea of more established competitors.

No Defensive or Offensive Product Targeting

Fleasolve was sitting back while competitors ate their lunch. There weren’t any brand defense campaigns set up to protect their product pages from competitor ads, nor were there any offensive product targeting campaigns to capture traffic from dominant players like ITCH and Frontline. This passive approach allowed competitors to easily steal sales.

Disorganized Account Structure

Campaign naming wasn’t clear, multiple products were jumbled together in a single campaign, and keyword targets overlapped across campaigns. This messy structure made it hard to control ad spend effectively, leading to wasted budget and unreliable data.

The Strategy That Turned the Account Around

To fix this pet brand’s poor indexing and visibility, we did a full listing overhaul. We rewrote product titles to include high-value keywords competitors weren’t using, and we optimized the bullet points and backend search terms for maximum relevance. We also started building out Premium A+ Content and a dedicated Brand Store to improve branding and enable effective cross-promotion.

To guarantee profitability, we established strict profit guardrails so bids and budgets would never run at a loss. We implemented an inventory-aware bidding strategy, dialing down spend when stock was low to protect profit while maintaining rank.

We activated a cohesive PPC strategy using a mix of ad types to reinforce each other. We started to implement robust brand defense and offensive product targeting campaigns to protect our own listing pages and grab some of our competitor’s traffic.

Keyword Harvesting & Campaign Chaining

To ensure we were targeting the most profitable search terms, we implemented a “campaign chaining” system. We used broad and auto campaigns to discover high-converting search terms. We then “graduated” these winning terms into exact-match campaigns with similar buyer intent, or their own dedicated single-keyword campaigns, allowing us to focus high spend on these high value targets.
